auriferous_escape: Winter Park Mt. Bike Race

As many of you know Adam is a "little" into biking...ok ok, its his everything. But he has been getting to to racing (a 1st place in Vale and a 2nd at the first race in Winter park). So I also like to bike here and there and I decided to do the second Winter Park Single Track Race. So last Saturday Adam, Alex, Amy and I piled into Adam's 88 Jeep and drove up to the mts for a bike race. Adam raced the sport class and I the beginner. The race was crazy, about 8 mi and one crazy huge hill. But there was a sweet downhill into the finish. When it was all said and done Adam took a hard fought sixth (under one minute from third) and I manged to take second. But I really should have taken first...maybe next race. Adam also got some shots on his camera.
